- Dates for SRG 2009 is 20-22 January 2009.
- Rules for SRG 2009 has been updated.
- SRG 2009 venue is confirmed to be at the Annexe, Science Centre, Singapore.

- Competition poles for Pole Balancing Robot Competition for SRG 2009 is now available at $28 a piece from RGS(S). Please send email to Mr. CS Yee (mpeyeecs@nus.edu.sg) to place your order.
- Competition blocks for Intelligent Robot Contest for SRG 2009 is now available at $22 a piece from RGS(S). Please send email to Mr. CS Yee (mpeyeecs@nus.edu.sg) to place your order.
- Please note that the Legged Robot Marathon Race competition track for SRG 2009 has been re-built without a layer of rubber mat. Thus, the surface condition of the race track will be plain plywood surface with matt black paint and is subject to wear and tear due to robots running.
- Open Categories participants to email video of project (less than 2MB) to mpeyeecs@nus.edu.sg before 9 January 2009 for preliminary judging. Closing date for registration for Open Category extended to 12 noon of 6 January 2009.
- Closing date for Registration for all other events extended to 12 noon, 9 January 2009.
- Shortlisted Open Category teams: 1. Lift Lady, 2. Chingay, 3. MakeAffinity, 4. Monkey Business, 5. Static-X, 6. 90 Cents, 7. SPEAR 8. VIPER Bot. Please report at 9.30 am at the Annexe, Science Centre to ballot for order of appearance.
