Soccer Robot

The Legged Locomotion Group, is part of the Control and Mechatronics Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. We started off in 2001 with 2 postgraduate students and 4 faculty members.

In these two years, we have expanded to have expanded to include more postgraduate students and many more undergraduates.

The areas of research of this group includes walking robots, walking control and actuators. There are many other projects that are currently undertaken. Please do look around the website for more information.

Our vision is to develop autonomous walking robots that will eventually be used in various fields, such as biomedical and space research. This is to be achieved by continuous research on the design and control of walking robots.
