NUS Bipedal Robot (NUSBIP) Robot is a 3D life-sized robot. It was modelled after a 10-year old child. It has 12 DOFs and thus, controlled by 12 DC motors.

This project involves many aspects of mechanical engineering and other technical skills, such as:

  • 1. mechanical design
  • 2. control systems
  • 3. sensors
  • 4. noise filtering
  • 5. computer systems
  • 6. computer programming
  • 7. and most of all, troubleshooting skills
